You can't have a post-by-post role-playing game without a location for the various scenarios. For Heroes and Legends, we've covered a huge amount of the ancient civilized world. Although we started only in Greece, we've grown out as far as including Scandinavia and Eire in recent years. Below we've listed the lands and included a little information on each one for your benefit.
The Greeks were immensely famous for their advancements in education, philosophy, political systems, arts, and sciences. They were run for the most part in a series of city-states, where each city has it's own leader. Currently, Heroes and Legends has no specific structure because Greece has become the least active of all the locations (which is bizarre because that was where we started nearly a decade ago). At this time, Greece is known for the pirates that seem to have made home in its ports.

In our version of Egypt, Cleopatra and her children escaped the wrath of Augustus, although Marc Antony died for their cause. She reigns still in her lands, free from threat at this time. Her children prosper, and her family grows, all the while her kingdom is just one command away from becoming another piece of the Roman legacy. The lower end of Alexandria has become overun by pirates, thieves and is littered by brothels. Shortly, Cleopatra will be allying herself with Numidia by offering her daughter Selene to their King as a wife.
The Scynthians are a nation of warrior women known as Amazons,
Ancient Scandinavia is a very broad addition to the Heroes and Legends map. However, we've consolidated for the most part, and at this time it consists of only one tribe, the Vandals. These Vandals in particular set aside their nomadic life to build a real civilization. These are a strong, independent, fierce people with no tolerance for Romans. They are allied with the Scynthian amazons through bloodlines, as well as Eire. The current Vandal king is Luc, one of the most impressive warriors the Vandals have ever known, aside from his predecessor, the former King Darius.
Ancient Eire is another land that we've tweaked for our own purposes. There are |

architectural advances and military genius. Currently Rome is lead by Emperor Augustus, alongside the Roman Senate. However this Rome is different then the one you know from your textbooks in school. The real ruler of Rome is Wulf Loire, a former blacksmith from Greece who has taken over the Aventine Hill and controls all the ports, taverns, and businesses throughout the lower hills. Also occuring in the darker realms of Rome, a secret society of individuals devoting their faith to the goddess Nox meet in underground tunnels and have sadistic rituals..jpg)
while the Dacians are a small village not far from Scynthia that consists of a large population of men that are considered a brother village to Scynthia. The men participate in Scynthian mating rituals and work alongside the Amazons in all aspects, providing some of the food they farm in exchange for protection. At one time the Dacian men were forbidden to step foot into Scynthian lands, but a Scynthian princess and her Dacian prince love have changed the rules forever...
currently two tribes in Eire; the Brigante and Trinovante. The Brigante tribe is a long-standing group of people, run by the same family for many years. They are currently ruled by the last living child of their former king, Queen Rhiannon. Her only possible heirs are daughters by her sister, who was killed in a mass slaughter. The Trinovante tribe has been rebuilt after being destroyed five years prior, and is being led by King Nolan (who was previously known as Broderick but changed his name to prevent assassination).
